How to connect to the SWIFT network

You have two options:

Connect via a third-party bank

Indirect connection
You use another bank’s SWIFT connection to request a payment on your behalf
FIN messaging service

Connect via SCORE

Direct connection with all banks that subscribe to the SCORE service
You connect to SWIFT under your own name
Closed user group administered by SWIFT
FIN messaging service

What we offer

Various messages types (MT) are exchanged via SWIFT’s FIN messaging service, depending on the type of transaction.

BCV offers two message types:

Request for transfer (MT 101)
This message is used to transfer available cash to a central cash-management system or to make a domestic or international payment to a third party. BCV’s role is limited to executing the payment order.
Customer statement message (MT 940)
This message lists all completed transactions and shows how much cash you have on hand.
