Variable-rate mortgage loan

A variable-rate mortgage loan is a flexible financing solution that is particularly well suited if you are planning to sell your property in the near future.


  • If you think you may have to sell your property soon, you can do so quickly with a variable-rate mortgage loan because the loan cancellation period is short.
  • The interest rate is variable, which means it changes in line with market conditions. So if rates fall, the interest rate on your mortgage will go down too.

  • None

Maximum amount

  • Multifamily residential properties: max. of 80% of the property's value
  • Other real estate: between 50% and 70% of the property's value

Term of the loan

  • No set term
  • The notice period for termination of the loan is 6 months

Interest rate

  • Customized

Principal repayment

  • Generally 1.25% of the loan amount per year

Due dates

  • Half-yearly installments include interest and principal repayment
