University graduate internships
Are you a recent university graduate eager to put your learning to work? We employ people in all areas of banking, and when you do an internship here, you can learn about every facet of the business. Just think of it: so much to discover under one roof – it couldn’t be easier.
We want you to get extensive hands-on experience in one part of banking while learning about all the rest. This is not a generalist internship: you’ll work primarily in the type of banking that interests you. But by spending time in other departments, you’ll be able to narrow down the direction you want your career to go within your main field of interest.

If you complete an internship in our compliance department, you could go on to become a compliance officer – a critical function at BCV for ensuring compliance with all regulations, such as those to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. You’ll apply your skills to assess surveillance-system alerts on customer relationships and transactions. Your efforts to ensure compliance at BCV will help us earn and keep the trust of our customers and stakeholders.
If you’re interested in doing an internship in finance, one potential opportunity is in the field of market risk analysis. BCV relies on input from market risk analysts to respond to customers’ changing needs. In this role, you’ll help drive cross-functional projects, such as to implement new software and streamline our front-office and risk-management systems. You’ll also work on developing, improving, and documenting quantitative models, and will serve as a backup for critical market-risk-related functions, contributing to the stability of BCV’s financial operations.
As a project coordinator, you’ll help develop BCV’s strategic initiatives in the areas of sustainability, regulatory compliance, service quality, and more. Your responsibilities will include supporting initiatives involving various departments, tracking progress, and providing input – all of which will be essential in enabling BCV to achieve important goals. You’ll also play a part in writing project reports: you’ll collect and check content and review English translations of the reports.
If you’re interested in a career in legal affairs, you may want to consider becoming a regulatory specialist. In this role, you’ll be responsible for tracking legal and regulatory developments so that BCV is aware of all requirements and achieves full compliance. You’ll also review BCV policies and other official documents to make sure they’re consistent with current regulations. As a regulatory specialist, your input will be crucial in ensuring BCV operates responsibly and effectively in a constantly changing environment.
As an assistant advisor, you’ll actively support BCV’s bank advisors, helping them to manage customer relationships and providing input during customer meetings. The training you receive will give you the skills you need to handle your own customer portfolio. You’ll also help train the next cohort of interns and apprentices, passing on the knowledge you’ve acquired.
