BCV has rolled out a multibanking service, developed in close collaboration with SIX and several other major Swiss banks, that enables individual customers to view all their accounts held with the participating banks in each bank’s online banking platform. Starting today, BCV customers can view the balances and transactions on those accounts in BCV-net or BCV Mobile. As the first bank in French-speaking Switzerland to offer this service, BCV is actively helping to push digital banking forward in Switzerland and to strengthen the competitiveness of the Swiss financial sector.
Customers who wish to use the multibanking service must activate it in BCV-net, the web interface of BCV’s online banking platform. They can also view their BCV accounts in other participating banks’ online banking platforms by enabling that option in the platform concerned. Open banking – which includes multibanking – is a major development in the international banking industry, and the Swiss financial sector has designed an easy-to-use solution that works across Switzerland. BCV’s involvement in this project is just one example of its broader work with the Swiss financial sector to promote innovation in financial services in order to meet customers’ evolving needs.
