Be wary if you get a phone call from someone claiming to be an IT support person. When making payments, be sure to check the payee's bank details and the amount. Your log-in details are confidential, never share them with anyone!

Secure payments with the TWINT QR code and payment link

With the TWINT QR code and payment link, you can pay simply, securely and quickly at supermarket checkouts, at farm shops, in online shops or via digital channels:

  • Check the payment link: the official structure is https://go.twint.ch/
  • Click on the payment link or open your TWINT app.
  • Scan the TWINT QR code with your TWINT app or follow the instructions.
  • Confirm your payment if necessary

Do not scan the TWINT QR code with your smartphone camera or with another app. If you pay online with TWINT, always complete the payment with the QR code (or with the numerical code) in your TWINT app.

Send money securely with TWINT

You can use TWINT to send money or split a restaurant bill with your friends, for example. This way, you can make sure that your money is sent to the right person:

  • Check every payment request closely
  • Only send money to people you know personally
  • Check the name, phone number and amount before sending any money
  • Pay particular attention when making purchases from online marketplaces and exchange platforms.

Never send money to strangers without first checking their identity thoroughly.
