Be on the lookout for scammers! Be wary if you get a call from someone you don’t know. Hang up immediately if the caller becomes pushy or tries to get you to act in a hurry. BCV will never ask you for your login details or passwords – don’t share them with anyone. Never give your bank card to anyone.

Money received by mistake

Returning the money

Did you receive money from someone you don’t know and believe it was sent to you by mistake?

We suggest you return the money using the “Send” feature in BCV TWINT and add a message to the recipient explaining the mistake.

 

Unjust enrichment

According to Swiss law, receiving money by accident is a form of unjust . enrichment. The person who sent the money is entitled to reclaim it from you, by legal means if necessary.
