Occupational pensions

Avena, formerly called Fondation BCV deuxième pilier, was set up in 1978 to provide a comprehensive range of occupational pension plans for businesses in French-speaking Switzerland with over 10 employees. At end-2021, it managed pension fund assets for over 15,000 members from more than 1,050 companies. 

For more than 20 years, we have offered an occupational pension-plan management and administration service. Avena - Fondation BCV 2e pilier aims to help clients manage their occupational pensions as effectively as possible, handling some or all of their administrative, accounting, actuarial, technical, and financial tasks. 

We organize training seminars for people representing companies on the boards of occupational pension funds. Training may be provided on a group basis, or alternatively we can provide fully customized training based on the needs expressed by your pension board.
