Payment validation

If you request a type of payment that you do not usually make, BCV-net may ask you for validation. This is another form of protection offered by our e-banking solution.

For security reasons, BCV-net will ask you to validate certain types of payments to new payees.

BCV-net will ask you to validate the payment, i.e. to confirm that the transaction concerned should be carried out.

For customers signing in using the BCV Access Card, if an unusual payment is requested, BCV-net will ask you for another code from your BCV Access Card in order to validate the transaction. Once the right code is entered, the payment will be made. The same type of procedure is used with the BCV e-code system.

For customers logging in using the authentication code sent via text message, BCV-net will send a new code to your mobile phone, which you simply enter into the correct field.

If you authenticate your log-in using the text-message code, we strongly recommend that you do not log into BCV-net on your mobile phone. This provides less security than using two separate independent channels, i.e., your mobile phone to receive the text-message code and your computer (PC or MAC) to log into BCV-net.
