BCV-net offers various ways to sign in to your account, enabling you to do your banking anywhere, 24 hours a day.
There are three ways to sign in to your account using BCV-net.
BCV Access Card
After entering your user ID (in the form VTBXXXXX or HXXXXX) and your password, BCV-net will ask you for a code from your BCV Access Card. The requested code is selected using various algorithms, and is not determined until the moment you sign in.
Log-in authentication code sent via text message
To make BCV-net easier to use when on the move, you can receive a log-in authentication code via text message on your mobile phone instead of using the BCV Access Card. After entering your user ID and password, BCV-net will send you a text message containing the code you must enter to complete the log-in process. This service requires prior registration.
If you authenticate your log-in using the text-message code, we strongly recommend that you do not log into BCV-net on your mobile phone. This provides less security than using two separate independent channels, i.e., your mobile phone to receive the text-message code and your computer (PC or MAC) to log into BCV-net.
BCV e-code
You will be sent a smart card and a card reader enabling you to sign in and access pre-defined services. In a company, different accounts (cash management account, building management account etc.) may be handled by several different people. The BCV e-code system is an easy way to manage access by more than one person.
