BCV-net enhances security with encryption certificates

BCV-net has adopted Verisign Extended Validation SSL Certificates...which means that your online banking sessions are now even more secure.

Whenever you log in, BCV-net now sends out a certificate that your browser uses to ensure that you are connected to BCV’s secure server. If you use Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3.0, a padlock marked “Banque Cantonale Vaudoise” will appear next to the address bar (if you use an older version of one of these browsers, the padlock will be in the bottom-right corner of the page). When you see this padlock, it means that your online banking session is secure. If you wish, you can view the certificate by double-clicking on the padlock.
