Security tip: don’t use BETA versions of web browsers

BCV would advise you not to use BETA versions of web browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox 4).

To use BCV-net, you need to have the following

• A PC with Windows 2000/XP/Vista or a Mac with OS X
• The latest official version of a web browser: Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher for PC, or Firefox version 1.5 or higher for PC or Mac

We advise you not to use the following

• Netscape
• Internet Explorer version 5.5 for PC or previous versions
• Internet Explorer for Mac
• Opera
• Windows operating systems 3.x/95/98/Millennium/NT
• BETA versions of web browsers
