Payment validation

For increased security, BCV-net now requires additional validation for certain payment types involving new payment beneficiaries.

You continue to log into BCV-net the same way, entering the number from your BCV Access Card as the final step. But whenever you schedule a payment that is out of the ordinary, BCV-net now asks you to enter another number from your BCV Access Card. Once you enter the correct number, the payment is entered into the system. The procedure is the same if you use a BCV e-code reader and card instead of the BCV Access Card. In any event, you will only be asked to validate a new beneficiary once.
