Text-message services

You can use BCV-net's free text-message service to authenticate your log-in, validate payments and keep track of your accounts—wherever you are and whenever you want.

Logging in to BCV-net

You can now authenticate your log-in to BCV-net via text message. Whenever you log in to BCV-net, you will receive a security code sent via text message to your mobile phone. Simply enter this code in the field provided in order to complete the log-in process.

Signing up is easy. If you are already a BCV-net user, just log in, click on the “Text messages” tab and request to change your authentication method from the access card to the text-message code. If you are not yet a BCV-net user, ask for text-message authentication when you register.

Payment validation

For increased security, BCV-net requires additional validation for certain payments involving new payment beneficiaries. In such situations, you will simply be asked to enter a confirmation code. If you have signed up for the BCV-net text-message service, the confirmation code will be sent to you via text message. Otherwise you will be asked to enter a number from your access card.

Text-message alerts and notifications

As a BCV-net user, you can sign up to receive information about your accounts free of charge via text message. You can request your account balance in real time, receive regular notifications of your account balance and last five transactions, and/or receive an alert when your account balance reaches one of your pre-set levels.

To sign up, simply log in to BCV-net, click on the "Text messages" tab at the top of the screen and follow the instructions.
