Launch of BCV Mobile

BCV becomes the first full-service bank in Switzerland to offer an e-banking app for smartphones AND tablets

BCV today launched BCV Mobile, an e-banking app that allows iPhone, iPad and Android smartphone users to make select secure transactions, view their accounts and obtain a variety of financial information on their devices.

Lausanne, 13 December 2011 – BCV Mobile is a free and easily accessible app that offers users simple solutions to their everyday banking needs. BCV clients as well as other users can use the app to:

  • Calculate currency conversions
  • Locate BCV branches and ATMs
  • Follow the major financial markets, exchange rates and mortgage rates offered by BCV
  • Find contact information to get in touch with BCV or quickly report a lost or stolen card.

BCV clients with access to BCV-net can also:

  • View their account balances and recent transactions
  • See how their securities are performing
  • Make transfers between their BCV accounts.

Also for iPad

BCV Mobile for iPad offers all the features of the iPhone and Android smartphone versions as well as easy navigation and direct access to the latest BCV news via tweets and podcasts published on social networks and BCV’s website. The iPad version is also the first app offered by a full-service bank in Switzerland to allow users to make bank transactions.

The BCV Mobile app was designed to be both modular and flexible. BCV will continue to add new features based on market developments, technological advances and client needs and recommendations.
